Skills for the Future! We offer a wide range of education in various fields: a vocational upper secondary qualification, further vocational qualification, specialist vocational qualification or the specific unit.

For applicants

Applying for vocational upper secondary qualifications

You can apply flexibly throughout the year through continuous admission. In continuous admission, you can apply for a vocational upper secondary qualification, further vocational qualification, specialist vocational qualification or the specific unit.

We offer education in English in the fields of Social and Healthcare, Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology and also in Restaurant and Catering Services. Qualifications in English are available at Esedu as apprenticeship training.

If you are unsure about the exact qualification you want to study, you can send us an open application (in Finnish), and our study counselor will assist you in finding a suitable study option.

Application Process

Apply through the continuous admission process on the specific page of each program under the section “Apply for Education”. We will contact you a month before the possible start of your studies. Holiday periods (Christmas and summer vacation) may cause delays.

If you already have an apprenticeship position secured, enter your information for the apprenticeship in the “Apprenticeship” section. You can also apply for an apprenticeship student position through the continuous admission process.

Continuous admission is suitable for you if:

You want to develop your skills or enhance your professional competence.
You are seeking a new career.
You want to change fields.
You have gained work experience.
You want to apply for apprenticeship training.
You did not receive a study placement in the joint application process.

Selection criteria for continuous admission:

You are motivated for the field.
You have the necessary prerequisites to succeed in the education.
You are suitable for the tasks in the field.
The absence of a previous degree is considered advantageous.
Some programs may have additional requirements for background education or skills.
